Hi! All I'm looking for is a simple skin that will allow me to do indents but I'm terrible at coding so I can't just create one myself. If you know of one, could please let me know? Thanks!

hi i'm new at this whole ao3 'create you own work skin' thingy and i hope you could teach me how to create my own. skin wizard was a friend from i'm starting to think that CSS format has a grudge against me that i can't begin to fathom.

huge thanks for the help!

Help with fonts

Hi!

I'm looking for a way to change the font of certain centered paragraphs without changing the font of the whole text or messing up the spacing of said paragraphs.

I've tried to create work skins with CSS for Courier New, that didn't fly. I managed to change the font of all the text and once I localized the font change to one paragraph, the spacing and font size went south. I don't know if I did something wrong with the CSS or if I messed up the HTML.

Courier New is the font I'd like. Any and all help is much appreciated!

I went back - well-rested - read through all available tutorials on AO3, had a session of trial and error and made it work.

I currently have my custom site skin (using the wizard) set to 25% for work margin width. this is perfect when I am reading on the computer, but absolutely awful when I read on mobile. is there some CSS I could stick on the skin so that the margins are 25% on my computer, but use the default margin settings while on mobile?
